Szu-Han "Zoe" Chen is a Taiwanese media composer currently based in Los Angeles. Zoe is passionate about telling stories through music, and her musical ideas are largely inspired by colors, visual components, and the emotional nuances inherent in each narrative. With a background in classical violin performance, Zoe thoroughly enjoys exploring different musical genres; she is excited about discovering new sounds and enriching her musical palette through each of her scoring projects. Recently, her scoring works have been featured at the DGA Student Film Awards Ceremony 2023, AniMate - Australian Animation Film Festival 2024, and Australian Women's Film Festival 2024.

Zoe holds Undergraduate and MM degrees in Violin Performance from Longy School of Music of Bard College in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she also studied music theory, composition, and improvisation. She graduated from NYU's MM Screen Scoring program. She is a recipient of the Taiwan Ministry of Education Scholarship for Study Abroad for the year 2022-2023. In 2024, she received the Alliance for Women Film Composers scholarship for participating in Joy Music House Score Production Workshop, which culminate in a live recording session in EastWest Studios in Hollywood, Los Angeles.
